TWISTED SISTER Pull Out Of U.K.'s DEMOLITION BALL

June 5, 2005

TWISTED SISTER have cancelled their appearance at the Demolition Ball 2005, set to be held June 26 at the Newcastle Metro Arena in Newcastle, England.

Commented the festival organizers: "Scheduling difficulties to fly the band from their German show [Bang Your Head festival] the previous night (Saturday) in time to perform at the Demolition Ball have unfortunately proved impossible to resolve. We and the band have tried every possible way to make this happen, but to no avail."

Added TWISTED SISTER guitarist Jay Jay French: "The logistics became the issue because of the flights to get there and the exorbitant cost of renting a private jet large enough to fit everyone. The ever shinking dollar played a very real role in this. Losing money is not in the game plan as we play very few shows each year. When we agreed to do this, we were told that the costs could be contained so that it nmade sense. We never like to do this but since we will be back in November we made this very tough decision."

Primarily a showcase for artists signed to Demolition Records, the Demolition Ball will be recorded for release on over 52 rock radio stations throughout Europe and the U.K., along with a 60-minute TV special planned for an October airing on Japanese television.

The Demolition Ball lineup:

SEBASTIAN BACH
Y&T
ELECTRIC EEL SHOCK
TIGERTAILZ
MANTAS
FIST
INVEY
BLACK # #
TORSOHORSE
